​SPROUTED PLANNER

A new entrepreneur confidently launches a unique line of planners thanks to Karla Pámanes

Striking cover designs and a brand to match garner rave reviews for Sprouted Planner in a crowded market

​CHALLENGE: A need for covers that gets planner interiors considered
​

Faced with a lack of effective planner options as her own life shifted with marriage, grief, career changes and children, Heather Liedl sought to give women an uncomplicated tool that could serve them in any season of life.

Heather easily laid out planner interiors to realize her vision despite not having any background in design. The covers were another story.

The planner market is incredibly competitive.

Without distinctive cover designs, Heather knew the interiors she had worked so hard to create wouldn’t be considered by her ideal audience.

​She wouldn’t be able to help women like her.

“I wanted to offer something that felt good in my customer’s hands, something they would be proud to use. I didn’t even attempt it myself. I would just work on other stuff. My business was at a standstill.”

SOLUTION: Compelling covers and a new brand identity
​
Upon meeting Karla in a Facebook group, Heather knew that she was the right fit. 

Heather trusted Karla immediately after their initial meeting, and her onboarding process made kickoff exceedingly easy. 

The pair exchanged ideas and Karla quickly presented a set of options. 

Finally Heather had what had held her business back for so long: covers she was sure would gain consideration for her planners.

Upon learning that Karla also offered brand identity design, Heather knew she needed that too.
​



​“I was using whatever colors, whatever fonts when I was trying to post and I realized I was drowning in creating a consistent brand.
I had used Canva and it was a hot mess.​”

​The branding project ran in a similarly efficient fashion. Heather now has all the tools at her disposal to create the look and feel she desperately wanted for Sprouted Planner. 
​

 She also benefited from Karla’s business expertise throughout their work together.
