One of the things I'm most grateful for is that the business I've built allows me to give back to something very close to my heart.
Both of my parents were educators who taught me the value of hard work and, most importantly, the belief that education can change everything. They met and fell in love at the university in my hometown of Torreón, Mexico, where my dad would go on to dedicate 40 years of his life as a professor. Since my dad passed away in 2020, I've had the honor of sponsoring full scholarships each year in his memory, along with several annual student memberships to the Institute of Industrial and Systems Engineers (IISE 982), the chapter he helped bring to the university. It's a small way I get to continue his legacy, honor what my parents taught me, and help create opportunities for the next generation of students. |
